Today I wanted to share with you 3 important things you can do for yourself during the covid-19 pandemic – a time of physical distancing and a new way of living for everyone.


This is so important. We are physically apart and it’s easy to feel isolated and disconnected. Don’t put off getting in touch with the people you care about. Call or text a friend. Arrange a zoom meeting. Watch a live video. Reach out sooner rather than later. This will not only help you but the people you are reaching out to.


Staying healthy in times of change and stress is important to help us to cope better. I find that staying hydrated and eating well and often is key to feeling a sense of clarity and balanced energy. Moving your body is also key – it’s a chance to get outside and step away from work and the things that are on your to do list. It gets you out of your head and back to the present moment.


I can’t convey just how important this one is and it actually includes the above 2 things. 

Self care is different for everyone. It’s essential to do what is right for you every single day. When you’re looking after your needs in ways that work for you things happen with ease and joy.

Every morning ask yourself “how do I want to feel today and what can I do to ensure that?”.
